Colorado Rapids’ Japanese defender Kosuke Kimura recorded a special video welcome to Rapids fans in Japanese on the club’s annual Asian-Pacific Heritage Night for the stadium RapidsVision!

Kosuke Kimura is the only Japanese national playing in Major League Soccer in the U.S. Here he signs shirts and balls for young fans after a team practice with the Colorado Rapids. He signs his autograph in kanji, the complex Japanese version of the Chinese alphabet. This video was taken for a story in Asian Avenue magazine’s September issue
